The Blue Nets Festival, a must-have !
The oldest in Brittany, It was created in 1905 to help the sailors of Concarn, by gathering local people and holidaymakers during a charity event. As dynamic and popular as ever, this year the festival offers a varied programme of events that are linked to Breton culture. Don't miss the election of the Queen of the Filets Bleus who will represent Concarneau all year long, an election dating from the first edition of the festival.
Numerous animations are waiting for you: conferences, visits, demonstrations and workshops, turned towards the sea and the Breton culture are organized every day.
Free concerts host a choice program! Tri Yann, Capercaillie, Manau, les Négresses Vertes and many others will play for you this year.
And of course, the unmissable Grande Parade, its bagadoù and its hundreds of dancers will fill your eyes on Sunday, August 18, 2019.
