The Green Meadows on the hiking side
Take advantage of the hiking opportunities at Camping Les Prés Verts
There are many possibilities to walk or cycle from the Camping les Prés Verts aux 4 sardines. Here is an overview.
The GR34 close to Camping Les Prés Verts
Nicknamed the "Customs Officers' Trail", this spectacular path follows the whole of the Breton coastline, over a distance of more than 2000 kilometres! It starts from the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel to reach Saint-Nazaire. The campsite Les Prés Verts overlooks the GR34, so it is easy for you to reach it directly from your pitch and to set off to walk it. You also have the possibility to stop at our campsite during a longer walk on the Sentier des Douaniers. Exceptional views await you along this route, which requires suitable walking shoes. The GR34 was not elected "France's favourite GR" in 2018 for nothing!
On foot or by bike, take the Green Route
Always starting from the Camping Les Prés Verts aux 4 Sardines, go on the Voie Verte n°7 on foot or by bike. It allows you to reach the city centre of Concarneau at 3 kilometres, and to go for a walk in complete safety. The Voie Verte then continues towards Roscoff, in the north of Brittany, via Rosporden and Carhaix for 147 kilometres. You can stop whenever you like! This greenway is accessible to all, even to people with reduced mobility.
Discover Concarneau on a hike
There are several signposted routes to discover the town of Concarneau. Whether it's a simple ride or a real sporting event, there's something for everyone. You can choose to walk along the coastline, or to discover the streets of the city. Some of these walks are accessible to bikes or mountain bikes.
